Napa Farmers Market Announces Year Round Saturday Market

Napa, CA — Responding to shopper demand, the Napa Farmers Market Board of Directors has voted to transition the Saturday market to a year-round market.  The Tuesday market will end for the season on November 20 and will resume again in spring 2019.  The continuation of the Saturday market means that locals, including those shoppers using CalFresh benefits, will have access to fresh-picked, seasonal produce, specialty foods and artisanal products year-round.

“Toward the end of the 2017 market season, we surveyed both vendors and customers.  Overwhelmingly, both wanted a year-round market,” said Napa Valley Farmers Market Board President David Layland.

Hours for the Saturday market will remain 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the market will remain in its current location in the parking lot at the South Napa Century Center at 195 Gasser Drive.  Winter season shoppers can expect to find many of their favorite vendors and will be able to purchase a variety of produce, meats, cheese, fresh eggs, honey, dates and much more.

In celebration of the continuation of the Saturday Napa Farmers Market and the start of the winter season, the market will host a Holiday bazaar on Saturday, November 24,. with several market vendors offering special gift items for purchase.
