Face Covering Policy Update: November 19, 2020
Effective November 21, 2020, we will require all customers, visitors, staff, vendors and volunteers to wear a face mask or face shield while in line for and inside Napa Farmers Market located on the City of Napa Parking Lot at 1100 West Street.
Entry to the Napa Farmers will only be granted to those wearing a face mask or face shield.
Children under the age of two years are exempt.
The Napa Farmers Market has had a face mask policy in effect since June 2020, but customers who could not wear a mask due to a medical condition were exempt.
This is no longer the case. If a customer has a medical condition that prevents them from wearing a mask, they must wear a face shield at the Napa Farmers Market.
People who cannot wear masks or face shields are invited to speak to one of our staff our volunteers at the entrance booth located at the corner of Pearl and Yajome. We will make reasonable accommodations to ADA requests, like having someone shop for them. This policy is based on guidance from the National Farmers Market Coalition Legal Toolkit on Face Mask Requirements and the American Disabilities Act.
This updated policy may seem inconvenient to some, however we believe the added safety is worth any inconvenience.
Our goal is to continue to provide a safer shopping environment for our customers and visitors, and to provide a safer work environment for our staff, vendors and volunteers.
Thank you for your cooperation and support.
