At the Napa Farmers Market, CalFresh customers double their food assistance benefits (“food stamps”) to purchase fruits and vegetables with Market Match funding.

CalFresh customers swipe their EBT card at the Napa Farmers Market Information booth and receive matching funds to spend at the market.

In 2019, the Napa Farmers Market matched $20,000 in CalFresh benefits.

Market Match funds are provided through generous grants from the Kaiser Community Benefit Foundation and the Napa Valley Community Foundation and donations from the Napa Valley CanDo Give!Guide donors and 100 Men Who Give a Damn about Napa Valley.
