|California Alliance of Farmers Markets
The California Alliance of Farmers Markets supports vibrant and transparent relationships between producers, market managers and communities. Through education, advocacy, and promotion we work to ensure a robust economy for Certified Farmers’ Markets.
|California Certified Organic Farmers
CCOF supports and promotes organic through certification, education, and advocacy, working with farmers, consumers, educators, and researchers to increase awareness of and demand for certified organic products and to expand public support for organic agriculture.
|California Climate and Agriculture Network (CalCAN)
CalCAN is a statewide coalition that advances state and federal policy to realize the powerful climate solutions offered by sustainable and organic agriculture. CalCAN brings a sustainable agricultural perspective to climate change and agriculture policy. Its efforts are aimed at increasing funding for research, technical assistance and financial incentives for farmers whose practices reduce GHG emissions, sequester carbon, and provide many environmental co-benefits.
|Roots of Change
Roots of Change is a think and do tank. They have spent a decade analyzing the food system from soil to table and know the intervention points for making change. Roots of Change brings a diverse range of Californians to the table to build a common interest in food and farming so that every aspect of our food – from the time it’s grown to the time it’s eaten – can be healthy, safe, profitable, affordable and fair.
|California Small Farms Conference
The California Small Farm Conference is for farmers market managers and beginning to advanced producers who honor a small-scale approach to growing, processing and marketing food. Pulling together innovators, family farmers and experts in environmentally and economically transformative practices, this event is an opportunity to interact with leaders in your field, to network and to learn about new trends and practices. You will be inspired – and will inspire others – to make California’s small farms, their products and the farmers markets and sellers who promote them, shine. They bring in the best farmers, ranchers, farmers market managers and marketers to share how they make their crops, animals, markets and businesses grow.
|Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF)
Founded in 1978, the Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF) is a California-based nonprofit that builds sustainable food and farming systems through local and statewide policy advocacy and on-the-ground programs in an effort to initiate institutionalized change. CAFF’s programs address current problems and challenges in food and farming systems, creating more resilient family farms, communities and ecosystems. CAFF works to support family farmers and serves community members within the state, including consumers, food service directors, schoolchildren and low-income populations.
EcoFarm nurtures just and ecologically sustainable farms and food systems through education, alliance building, celebration and advocacy.
|Napa County Farm Bureau
Napa County Farm Bureau is a grass roots organization that began over 100 years ago when members banded together to share resources and promote agriculture throughout Napa County. Today, the Napa County Farm Bureau (NCFB) is one of 53 county organizations under the umbrella of the California Farm Bureau Federation which operates by the philosophy that more can be accomplished for the good of agriculture by working collectively rather than individually.

Napa Local Food is the one-stop-shop aimed at nurturing a sustainable local food system. Their purpose is to expand knowledge and awareness of local food resources, connect the community with local growers, and foster a better system for local production, distribution, and access.
|National Organic Program
The National Organic Program (NOP) is a regulatory program housed within the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service. They are responsible for developing national standards for organically-produced agricultural products. These standards assure consumers that products with the USDA organic seal meet consistent, uniform standards.
|National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition
NSAC advocates for federal policy reform for the sustainability of food systems, natural resources, and rural communities.
Farmers Inspired is a membership-based trade association dedicated to providing endless peer-to-peer learning opportunities, connections, and resources, for farmers who are passionate about the business of agritourism and farm direct marketing

The Organic Trade Association’s mission is to promote and protect organic with a unifying voice that serves and engages its diverse members from farm to marketplace. OTA’s vision is to grow organic to achieve excellence in agriculture and commerce, protect the environment and enhance community well-being.

UC SAREP is committed to strengthening California’s agriculture by advancing knowledge of the science of sustainability, supporting farmers and ranchers working to develop more sustainable agricultural practices, and assisting communities in building strong and healthy regional food systems.
