Napa County Agricultural Commissioner

The Napa County Agricultural Commissioner and staff are responsible for the implementation of federal, State and local regulatory programs within Napa County. These programs are designed to protect people and the environment and to promote agriculture within the county. Napa County currently has a reputation as a premier wine-producing region, but, as history has shown, also has the climate and soils capable of producing many types of exceptional agricultural products.

Napa Chamber of Commerce

As the membership organization for business, the Napa Chamber of Commerce promotes our community’s economic vitality and quality of life through leadership development, advocacy, facilitation and education.

 

Napa Local Food

Napa Local Food is the one-stop-shop aimed at nurturing a sustainable local food system. Their purpose is to expand knowledge and awareness of local food resources, connect the community with local growers, and foster a better system for local production, distribution, and access.

Oxbow Public Market

Oxbow Public Market has become the local gathering place for great food and wine in downtown Napa and throughout the Napa Valley. The 40,000 square foot marketplace, which includes a scenic outdoor deck with seating along the Napa River, features a diverse tenant mixture of local food vendors, artisan cafes and an organic produce outlet for local farms. Oxbow Public Market and its artisans and purveyors passionately support the concept of sustainable agriculture and local harvest—promoting a healthy environment, and social and economic equity within our community.

UC Master Gardeners of Napa County

The Master Gardener program is a volunteer organization associated with the University of California Cooperative Extension. Its mission is to provide educational and outreach programs that meet Napa County residents’ horticultural, pest management and sustainable landscape needs using research-based knowledge and information. UC Master Gardeners regularly have a booth at the Napa Farmers Market to provide advice to local gardeners.

 

Downtown Napa Association

Do Napa is the source for events, lodging, nightlife, recreation and the arts in downtown Napa.

 

The Peter A. and Vernice H. Gasser Foundation

The Gasser Foundation’s mission is to serve Napans today and in the future with a focus on health care, education, the environment, and the people and community of Napa.

The Table provides a daily nutritious meal to anyone who is hungry.
