Napa Farmers Market Culinary Director Sandy Sauter
After Chef Greg Cole retired from the Napa Farmers Market Board of Directors in 2018, Chef Sandy Sauter (pictured center) joined our team as the market’s Culinary Director responsible for organizing our Chef Demonstrations. Chef Sauter is the Executive Chef of Public Programs, California, at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) and co-owner and managing partner at Spork Kitchens, a commercial rental kitchen in Napa.
Sauter has been pursuing her culinary career in Napa Valley for more than 13 years with experience at several local institutions including Bouchon Bistro in Yountville, Dean & Deluca in St. Helena, and Copia: The American Center for Wine, Food, and the Arts. With a natural ability for teaching the culinary arts to food enthusiasts, she has developed and taught most of the food and wine classes for the public programs offered by CIA.
